B2 cars 1501 and 1774 were once B cars 501 and 774, respectively, the first and last B cars (originally built as B cars).
Most fittingly, the two cars wound up coupled together last week. Old 1501 is the oldest car on the railroad, originally built in 1970, and the 1774 is 5 years younger.
