Ads on BART cars - BART and non-BART Ads

There have been hundreds, maybe even a thousand or few, of different ad designs that have ridden the rails of the BART system. These ads measured 22 inches tall and 21 inches wide, with a wide range of messages. Some of these are "in-house" BART ads showcasing BART messages, BART sponsored programs, or other BART details. The rest of the ads are paid for by companies advertising on BART like they would on other public transit systems, on TV, the internet, etc.

This virtual collection of ads is sourced from private collections, the collection of the Western Railway Museum, BART, and by riding the trains themselves.

These ads were uploaded to the BARTchives for educational and historical research purposes.
